Last chance!

Where is God leading the Women of St. Francis of Assisi? What do we want this ministry to look like? What needs would I like to have met here?

Please pray and think about these questions. Come to the meeting to share your ideas and hopes. We really want to hear from you.

Please come to the meeting this month, but if you can’t we still want your ideas and thoughts. You may fill out a “Comment Card”, found in the Gathering Space. These can be dropped in the offering basket or sent to the Parish Center Office. Want to share your thoughts electronically?

Movie Night - February 25, 2011

Just for fun!  February 25th 7:00PM
In the St. Clare / St. Francis Rooms

Dress for comfort, bring your slippers, a pillow or lawn chair, and be ready for night with the "girls".

We will watch "No Reservations" a movie about how the life of a top chef changes when she becomes the guardian of her young niece. This PG rated movie stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aaron Eckhart and Abigail Breslin.

Come for fellowship, wine, snacks and a good time.

There will be time after the movie for fun and conversation.

Let's get to know each other better.
Let  us know if you will come!

Welcome Women of St. Francis of Assisi Parish

We are starting something new.

Catholic women have always worked together for the good of the church.  We have built strong friendships and helped each other in times of need and hardship.  But life has changed and the basic way we have always connected through the church doesn't seem to work as well.

Let's begin again.  We still need each other, we still need the wisdom of our "mothers", the companionship of our "sisters" the help of our neighbors.

We have the opportunity to recreate our ministry to and for women of our parish.  It doesn't have to be a "to do list" and it doesn't have be what was done before.  We can retain what is meaningful to us and create what will meet our needs now.

Please leave your comments and let us know what you want and need.
